Number one on the hotness scale
I’m currently reading a crime novel called ‘Watch Me’ by Angela Clarke. I laughed at this paragraph:
“At her feet was the man she recognised from the park: DCI Burgone. He looked different with his face composed: quite hot. He had a touch of Tom Hiddleston about him.”
After Stephen King’s ‘The Outsider’ also just had “he was no Tom Hiddleston” to describe how atrractive the man in question was, I love how Tom seems to be the go-to description for hotness for authors these days. And why not?
Wait, seriously? Stephen King did that?!
