Summary: As part of their terms of surrender at the end of the war with Asgard, Jotunheim has been closed off from the rest of the Nine Realms for the last millennium. When the time comes to lift the sanctions, a diplomatic exchange is proposed, and Loki is chosen as the ambassador to Asgard. But first, he’s got to play host to Odin’s emissary, Thor.

Here is my work for you. Thor and Loki. Yes, I decided to draw this, because many wanted to see it, and so did I. But I know that Loki will definitely come back. He needs Thor! So it was and so it will be! After all, how many times Loki did not betray Thor, only one thing remained unchanged: “Loki, come home!” Thor and Loki together to the end! They are not just brothers, they are one, one can not exist without the other. Remember the passage from the Avengers, where Loki says:
– “I am Loki, from Asgard, and I am entrusted with a glorious mission”
And Selvig to him:
– “Loki is the brother of the Thor?”
I do not represent Thor without Loki, even reading comics, I find constant references to these two. The eternal gods of Asgard, which we need

Saw @shineonloki‘s post about using the lyrics at the beginning of a storm god!Thor fic and had to go look them up. And wow, are they Thorki-ish… though interestingly, they could be sung by either partner. The words “when I’m reborn” have a very literal significance if we imagine Loki saying them after his death in Infinity War, considering the possibility that he might be brought back as Kid Loki (since Feige has said something about bringing the Young Avengers into the MCU. I’m not holding my breath, though, or confident that the new tone of Thor’s character will be appropriate to his comics relationship with Kid Loki and/or AoA Loki).
