Thor: Ragnarok + The Onion headlines (2/?)
everyone’s posting about how loki definitely sucked the grandmasters dick to win his favor in such a short amount of time but WHY is no one talking about the grandmaster gifting thor to the hulk as some sort of sex present then accusing thor of seducing the hulk into rebelling against him
Thor Ragnarok is fun eh?

Thor: Ragnarok clip – “I’m here.”
Just putting this here for later when I can watch on repeat and weep to myself.
Also I forgot what all the bottles looked like in the beginning of the scene, so I initially thought this was a joke and it was going to turn into some sort of holiday commercial?
Thank you to OP for filming/finding this and putting it up – I kept forgetting the exact wording of Thor’s comment to Loki before the “I’m here”…
one day jeff goldblum is going to come into our homes and kill is all instantly
(this is from this interview at around 5:50)
Jeff Goldblum was just licking his chops waiting to get into the MCU so he could troll us this hard.
So, Thor: Ragnarok has Hela and Fenris-wolf, who are both Loki’s children in mythology, if not in the Marvel mythos, and who play a role in mythological Ragnarok.
Absent, however, of Loki’s mythological brood and the monsters of Ragnarok is Jormungand, the world-serpent – who in mythology, kills Thor in Ragnarok by piercing him with its fang.
Now, obviously Thor doesn’t die in the film and doesn’t battle with the world-serpent.
But–
He does get pierced by a snake.
Specifically, a stabby little shit of one who goes “Mblergh, it’s me!”
thor had a worse reaction to someone cutting off his hair than to losing his eye, what an icon
See the thing is in Norse culture long hair was a sign of status. When the vikings brought back slaves they would cut their hair off. It was a symbolic loss of freedom. For Thor, royalty, the crown prince to have his hair cut off it was a sign of loss and humiliation.
don’t tell me he wasn’t choked up in that scene
