Imagine tiny Thor and tiny Loki hanging up posters of the Valkyrie in their room, or pretending they’re part of the them. Imagine them with little winged hobby horses running around Frigga’s legs. Imagine them arguing about who has to be the monster. Imagine them daydreaming about how cool it would be to meet them.
@raven-brings-light, I thought he was saying he did it for Frigga and Thor (because he did intervene to save Thor), which is why “I didn’t do it for him” is so appropriate. It both echoes and inverts the “I could have done it, Father! I could have done it! For you. For all of us,” line from the end of Thor: the “for all of us” bit is still there (i.e., for his family), but instead of “for all of us, especially Odin,” it’s “for all of us (you) except Odin.”
Or, you know, you can just do as the Russians did and make it really Thorki-ish 😀
Day 1 without Mjolnir: Thor throws a remote at his brother.
Day 2 without Mjolnir: Thor throws his brother at some guards.
2 weeks without Mjolnir: Thor throws increasingly improbable items about desperately hoping to find one that returns to him. Utter destruction lies in his wake.
It occurs to me to add: Loki is actually very much like Mjolnir. Not only is he an effective projectile weapon, but no matter how far he strays, he’ll always come back to Thor.
