Lmao I forgot about Thor hitting him with the pipe. WTF? I get that they’re trying to make Thanos look powerful and undefeatable and all but, I mean, Mary Poppins would look impenetrable too if all Jane and Michael did was throw a spit ball at her.
What the hell how did I miss this?! Thor may not be as cunning as Loki, but he’s not stupid, particularly in the context of battle. Not only was it insane to not use his powers, but he just watched Thanos easily beat the Hulk! Obviously a pipe would do nothing to Hulk, so it certainly couldn’t harm a being much stronger than him. That’s such basic sense it can’t even be explained with the weak “not thinking straight due to panic” excuse. Seriously, this scene gets worse and worse the more I think about it. It’s as if the Russos think that if they explain something in a way that doesn’t match up with the film, the movie will magically change itself to fit what they said in that interview. They can say all the incorrect stuff they want about this film, but it won’t change the film they actually made.
