oh wait, these are new terms for me, or at least the nuances are:

Pansexual: Not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity. Often called gender-blind, claiming that gender and sex are insignificant or irrelevant in determining whether they will be sexually attracted to others.

Omnisexual: Involving, related to, or characterized by a diverse sexual propensity. Usually do not call themselves as gender-blind, instead claiming that they see and acknowledge gender, but don’t care that much about it.

Additionally, the term polysexual has the prefix ‘poly-’ meaning many, and hence refers to connotations of “having multiple sexualities”. The term is sometimes used by people who feel their sexuality varies over time. The term ambisexual, on the other hand, brings to mind the word ambiguous, and is used by people whose sexuality is ambiguous and not clear cut or defined.

Reblogging again with definitions.

I’ve also seen polysexual used by people who say, are attracted to most genders/orientations but not one or two, like my friend who isn’t attracted to cis het men.

{ not to be confused with polyamorous, which regardless of orientation means you have romantic &/or sexual relationships with more than one person:) }
