god imagine Steve giving Peter his Captain America is Disappointed in You face/lecture over something dumb and Peter just fucking dissociating and zoning back in to “Peter! Are you even listening to me???” and looking him in the eye and being like “I’m completely immune at this point. You can’t even touch me.” and walking the fuck away
Homecoming is the only MCU film where we see Tony Starkjustfrom an outside perspective, and it’s hilarious to finally see him the way people in-universe do: suave, Cool™, always in control, definitely not an unstable Jenga tower of self-loathing and anxiety who uses a Cool™ persona as a crutch because his sanity is held together by scotch tape…
It’s also the only movie where we see Steve from an outside perspective and that is objectively more hilarious.
When Star Lord said that Thor was tall “and not handsome” Peter’s head whIPPED UP and he looked extremey confused which is how a bi boy who has a crush on Thor would react check and mate
also in homecoming when he meets the thieves in avengers masks he tells the thor one “i thought you’d be more handsome in person” and does impressions of thor in the mirror. everyone talks about tony being peters hero and idol but his fanboy crush is totally thor
guys i’m sorry but we’re getting close to the 2-year anniversary of when “spider-man: homecoming” filmed outside my apartment and i had to explain to security ppl that i lived across the street and t*m h*lland was so sweet and said hi and apologized for the traffic delays and told me to get home safe despite me pointing to my building 15 feet away and he was like “yes but you have to cross the street! be well!” and waved to me as i went inside oh my god am i gonna cry again
