Wanda is a middle-aged spayed female who needs to be an only cat or with someone who knows how to introduce a traumatized cat into a new cat setting. She could adapt to living with a dog. She doesn’t like being handled but she will sit in your lap and hang out with you wherever in the house you go. She loves to play. Due to her trauma, she may swat at you suddenly while you are petting her, as if she forgets where she is. All she needs is a person with good cat sense and some patience.
I live in central Alabama but I will drive/fly anywhere to save this cat. She doesn’t deserve this.

I’m looking for a beta reader for a nsfw Thorki fic I want to write that’s Loki-centric and takes place in the years between T:Dark World and T:Ragnarok. This will be the most canonish thing I’ve ever attempted and I think I need some assistance. I’m hesitant to even go any further with my outline at this point. So… asking for help.
currently, my family is flat on our ass financially until i get paid on thursday, so i’m here on the internet, begging for help. i don’t want to do this–i’ve put off making this post for literally hours because i. don’t. want. to. do. this. but i don’t have any other resources.
we’re currently without a car (some of you might remember my car dying last summer), so in addition to trying to feed the seven of us (i’m the only person working), we also have bus fare to deal with to get the kids back and forth to school. i haven’t been eating during the day because i’d been holding onto what little i had to feed my kids. (i’m not looking for a medal. that’s just how life is sometimes.)

He’s a cat that my parents have had since he was a kitten. Eleven years now.
He is a gigantic cuddle bug, and likes to spend his nights laying next to you, keeping you warm (and stealing your warms).
He likes drinking water from the faucet, so when you brush your teeth, you might need to push him out of the way. If you don’t close the door before your shower, you also might end up with him in the shower with you. It’s okay, he just likes water, as long as it’s his choice.
Unfortunately, he and his littermate are, for some reason, no longer getting along. After 11 years, they have decided that they suddenly hate one another. This has lead to almost five months of visits to vets, treatments, rearranging lives and household furniture.
His littermater was sick and was peeing all over the house. The good news is that they both have clean bills of health now. The bad news is that, because Buddy still SMELLS it, he’s still going to the bathroom all over my parent’s house. Despite the almost five months of working to rehabilitate these two, it hasn’t worked.
My parents have contacted rescues and no kill shelters. They are either full, or don’t take owner surrenders.
The truth of the matter is this:
Unless we are able to find a foster home, and hopefully a new forever home, Buddy is going to have to be put to sleep. He can’t keep living in my family’s bathroom. My family can’t follow him around his every moment that he is let outside of the bathroom to keep him from using the bathroom all over the house instead of his box.
This old, cuddly man needs a new place to live. And it needs to be a place where he will be appreciated for who he is, and will give him the love that we still have. It’s that love that is making us try to exhaust every possibility for him.
He is scared of dogs, and with the issues he has been having with his brother, I’m not sure how he would do with another cat in the household. Buddy would likely do the best if he was an only child in the house.
That being said, he was fine for 11 years before. If you have the patience and heart to work with him, life with other pets might be possible.
My family lives in south eastern Wisconsin. I’m more than willing to drive into Illinois or towards Minnesota too, for the right home for him. All over Wisconsin too.
I promise you a clean bill of health for him, and a kitty that won’t hide from humans. A litter box and a healthy appetite comes with him, as does a fondness for fuzzy blankets on the laps of “his human” to snore away on.

Hey friends, we need your help to find this sweet older gentleman a new home as quickly as possible! He’s a good, loving boy who has in his late years found living with his brother stressful, and I know in a calmer environment he could live out the rest of his life as a peaceful, loving soul again.
The situation is growing dire for Buddy as the current circumstances can’t remain tenable for much longer. It’s not good for Buddy, for his brother, or for his human family for things to remain as they are any longer than they must. It is breaking their hearts to part with him, but they would so, so much rather do so by sending him to be loved by someone else than to say goodbye to him in that most permanent fashion.
If you are able, please consider taking Buddy into your home and your heart. If you are not, please reblog and help him reach more dashboards and more hearts until he finds the one can be his for always.
