And by ‘helping’ I mean ‘critiquing his team’s fighting techniques while high on pain killers.’

Since Rhodey is canonically from Philly how do you think that shapes him as a character?

also he is genetically required to like cheesesteaks 

rhodey buys all the gritty merch he can and leaves it all over the avengers compound, and it really freaks vision out. like his magenta ass finds the nerve to use the phrase “uncanny valley” even though he is deeply aware of the irony.

Rhodey: Talk to Steve. That’s what friends do.
Tony: Nope, I’m gonna wait until I’m on my deathbed, get in the last word, and then die immediately.
Rhodey: That’s your plan for dealing with this?
Tony: That’s my plan for dealing with everything. I have 77 argument I’m going to win that way.
