Rewatching “The Winter Soldier” and I still have trouble focusing during the sequence where they’re recovering the ship from the French pirates. I can’t remember whether/why this was important.
OK I guess the information that Natasha got off the ships’ computers had something to do with Hydra. Which is why Fury couldn’t open the files. And it’s relevant that Sitwell was on the ship.
Too many twists and turns and I forget what the storyline was. The basic outlines I remember, but specifics evaporate.
When that Quinjet turns around to confront Steve, it looks very much like Serenity in “Firefly” when she rears up out of the canyon to save Mal and friends from the ill-advised bar fight in “The Train Job.”
No idea why the design would be similar.
Not Steve’s first kiss since 1945, huh? I think they probably want us to assume he’s been on a few dates that didn’t go anywhere because of lack of shared life experience, but of course my assumption (and one I’ve seen bandied about on Tumblr) is that he’s hooked up with Tony, Sam, or possibly both.
Y’all don’t need to keep telling me what was going on with the ship mission. I’m watching the movie. It is becoming clear.
Sitwell mentions Stephen Strange as a target that’s been identified by Hydra as a future threat. Interesting, considering his relationship with time travel…
I get bored during long fight/action sequences so I let my attention wander, but then I have no idea how anyone ended up where they are. I’m very bad at tracking movie fight logistics.
Oh, just look at the Winter Soldier’s smoldering glare. Sebastian Stan doesn’t seem to have a lot of range, but he sure does know how to smolder.
