The incredible decoration on our copy of C.W. Webber’s Wild Scenes and Song-Birds (New York, 1854) is a perfect example of the tendency toward rich elaboration on publishers’ bindings in the 1850s. The combination of faux-marble printed pattern book cloth and intense gilt-stamping make for a memorable binding that would have looked impressive on a coffee table.

This is what happens when Narnia gets involved. It’s, um. Loki the White Sorcerer? I. I really don’t know. I think I just wanted an excuse to paint Jotun!Loki in white. And ice. Does this make Thor… Aslan?

Anyway, Lyn — this is dedicated to you. You write Loki so ridiculously well (and you write ridiculously well in general, just saying). In addition to being unbelievably talented, you’re a lovely, thoughtful, insightful person and an amazing friend, and I’m so so so so glad I know you. Please never ever stop being awesome. ♥

Fun idea: Loki keeps having those vivid dreams of himself getting fucked by his Jotun self while Thor watches, and now he cannot look at Thor or his Jotun for without gettibg unreasonably turned on. xx

Oh hello, a kink that Loki would certainly have!

I think Thor would very much enjoy watching Loki getting fucked by his Jotun-self. After all, the only person Loki could successfully top is himself.

Loki Obviously needs to invest some magic in creating a corporeal illusion for just this purpose.
