@raven-brings-light, I thought he was saying he did it for Frigga and Thor (because he did intervene to save Thor), which is why “I didn’t do it for him” is so appropriate. It both echoes and inverts the “I could have done it, Father! I could have done it! For you. For all of us,” line from the end of Thor: the “for all of us” bit is still there (i.e., for his family), but instead of “for all of us, especially Odin,” it’s “for all of us (you) except Odin.”
Or, you know, you can just do as the Russians did and make it really Thorki-ish 😀
OK, @raven-brings-light, I checked the notes and saw that you reblogged this a month ago, but I still want to register that I immediately thought of you when I saw it. Especially with the cigarette and the weird lighting – it’s Loki standing outside the lakehouse party, or maybe outside a club with Sigyn. (They have fake IDs, right?)
