Lets consider what happened in the hqs. Loki tried to rule asgard and accidentaly caused the ragnarok, he REALIZES THAT and then try to fix his mistake, taking the norns STONES and EXPLODING HIMSELF IN THE ENEMY (he did it also because he was becoming predctable and losing his own identity, just as thor say to him in the movie).
The scene of Loki’s sacrifice is REALLY CLOSE TO THE TRAILER.
He is not going bad again. He is going dead again.
Maybe he’s trying to save the people of Asgard, bargaining perhaps?

You know, it’s actually kind of hard to tell whether it’s tears or sweat on his lower eyelids. But considering the fact that Loki tends to get weepy in highly emotional situations – and Tom Hiddleston has admitted that tearing up is his natural response to extreme fear – I’m gonna go with tears.
Im hoping that Toms makeup in the wig fitting video suggests that loki somewhat recovers from this scene in the Infinity Wars trailer and doesn’t die immediately after handing over the tesseract. There is hope!
I never would have noticed that… I’m glad someone was paying enough attention to makeup details to provide this (provisional) reassurance.
Also, how sexy is it that he’s going to be running around with a bruise on his cheek and a cut on his eyebrow? (OK, I have a problem.)
