Frigga:
“You and your father cast large shadows. I’d hoped by sharing my gifts with Loki that he could find some sun for himself.“

I love the idea of Frigga teaching Loki magic as a way of helping him fit in. Like, “See, you belong here because I’m your momma and I do magic too…”
“Part of the backstory we created was that Frigga was really the most attentive to Loki when he was a child. And Odin didn’t really know how to connect. He connected much more with Thor. They were sort of cut from the same cloth. And Frigga and Loki had this kind of beautiful, sensitive, more artistic relationship. And it was actually her who taught him all his magic.”
I read somewhere that the actors for Loki and Frigga decided they should share a tic…to pick at their hands when they were upset or nervous. I decided to look for it, and lo and behold, it’s true! I guess that’s something of a ‘tell’ if Loki is in disguise, heh heh. Fauxdin indeed.

I’d love to see more moments of them as children!
Odin: I’m sorry I said that Thor was my favorite.
Loki: Don’t worry about it. You know, I’ve always preferred mom.

@gaslightgallows asked for: “Just make sure you’ve eaten” Frigga and Loki.
Loki shut the door behind him, finally alone, and he dropped the disguise, rolling his head and shoulders to stretch. The shift didn’t require him to actually hunch over, yet somehow his body always reacted as if he did.
Frigga smiled at him from the table on the balcony, where she was sitting in the light of the lanterns that lined the rail against the darkness of the night. “How went the audience?”

Thor: Do you ever regret sharing your magic with him?
Frigga: No. You and your father cast such large shadows, I had hoped that by sharing my gifts with Loki, he could find some sun for himself.
Do you miss them like I miss them?
