You’ve just described one of my favourite tropes in one go!

Hux knows that Kylo has abandonment issues, it’s clear enough for anyone to see. He wants to belong, he wants to be accepted and praised. That’s what Snoke gave him and the moment that Snoke’s praise stopped, Kylo killed him. So, Hux knows he’s got to become what Kylo needs; a shoulder to lean on, a voice to find comfort in, and maybe even a body to fuck.

But it becomes more than that very quickly. Instead of being thrown into a wall and being fucked seven ways to Hell like he’d expected, Hux often finds himself with Kylo lying on top of his chest in bed, snuggling with him and asking for his hair to be played with. Kylo cooks, he cleans, he dotes on Hux’s needs. He’s the complete opposite of what Hux thought he’d be like. And, fuck, Hux falls for him too.

But…does Kylo find out about Hux’s earlier plans for deception???
