Focused.

I look at these gifs and I love how powerful and terrifying Loki looks, but at the same time, all I can think is how slow that truck must feel to him. I feel like it’s the equivalent of being a Nascar racer, used to doing speeds of 120 mph, and getting stuck behind the reins of a horse and carriage from the 1870s, plodding along at 3 mph, all while scowling and trying to look fierce and intimidating, ready to take on that race track, even while on the inside they’re like, what the fucking fuck is this archaic shit. 

I just feel like something along those lines went through Loki’s head here (or would have, had he not also been loony at the time). 

Great observation. Reminds me of Tom saying Loki would be unsatisfied with these „incompetent human machines“ 😀

my favorite thing about the contrast between early christianity and ancient greek and roman religion is that the difference in the ways they think and talk about their gods is really similar to the difference between how dog and cat owners talk about their pets

early christians: this is our god he’s omnipotent and omniscient and he is better than all of the other gods
greeks: this is our party god dionysus he got into an argument with a bunch of frogs once and we love him
