Loki’s birthday is not canonically 12/17. Fandom made that up and I see a lot of confused people thinking it’s actually canon because everything spreads like wildfire.

His canon birthday isn’t set in stone. A fan simply asked a question about it and the answer basically amounted to it’s whatever you want it to be since nothing is official, so there ya go.

iirc it was essentially something along the lines of:

Fan: Hey, could Loki’s birthday be December 17th?
Al Ewing: Well, I can’t say it’s NOT December 17th

So it’s more like a….popular fanon than anything official. And considering how many times Loki has died and been reborn/subsequent ragnarok cycles of re-history really anything could be canon have fun guys live your dreams

I do like Loki as a Sagittarius though!

tbh, i wouldn’t be surprised if loki plans reincarnations in such a way that they collect a new zodiac sign every time.

Loki, setting up their latest reincarnation trap: I’m really feelin’ pisces this time

I was thinking about how many birthdays Loki must have by now and then I saw these additions to the post and I love it.

Starting with a budget. There was only one problem with that.

Tossing the pen down, Thor looked up at Loki, who sat on the opposite side of the desk, leaning back in his chair with his boots up on the desk. “Alright,” Thor said, holding up the piece of paper for Loki to see, “Here’s what I’ve got so far.”

Raising an eyebrow at the blank page, Loki commented dryly, “You seem to be missing some numbers.”
