I don’t think the MCU grasps the concept of how important this is.

That was seven years ago. That was before she had the money, recognition and resources to complete a fully functional one.

Can you imagine what she has built now?! She is the world’s leading astrophysicist. She was nominated for a Nobel prize! She saved the world from Dark Elves in The Dark World with her science!!!!
This is the woman Thor fell for. This is the woman that Loki risked his life twice for.
She needs to meet the Guardians of the Galaxy. She needs to. Just meeting them would be the most exciting thing for her.
