I don’t know where I saw it, but there’s a picture somewhere of a cat showing preference to the inside of a box shape drawn on the floor.

Which begs the question: Are summoned demons actually being forced to show up or are they simply creatures who like to sit in circles if presented with them?

The story of Superman and Moses are actually very similar. Both were sent away in a capsule, as their family was about to be killed, and were adopted into another family. After reaching adulthood, they used their special powers to benefit those around them

It’s almost as if the story of Moses was important to the creators of Superman in some way

So, Thor: Ragnarok has Hela and Fenris-wolf, who are both Loki’s children in mythology, if not in the Marvel mythos, and who play a role in mythological Ragnarok.

Absent, however, of Loki’s mythological brood and the monsters of Ragnarok is Jormungand, the world-serpent – who in mythology, kills Thor in Ragnarok by piercing him with its fang. 

Now, obviously Thor doesn’t die in the film and doesn’t battle with the world-serpent. 

But–

He does get pierced by a snake. 

Specifically, a stabby little shit of one who goes “Mblergh, it’s me!”

“I think you need to taste this for me,” the monarch said. They shoved the exquisite cake in their guard’s direction.

Their guard blinked. “Um.” 

“What, you’d rather your monarch be poisoned?”

Of course not. The guard hesitantly took a mouthful, only to practically melt in satisfaction. “Oh my god.” It was amazing. They caught themselves. “I – er – I think it’s fine.” 

“You should try a sip of the wine too,” the monarch said. “Just to be safe. Sit, sit.” 

It took the guard slightly too long to realize that it was practically a date, with the monarch feeding them delicacies off their plate.
