Is that how the dialogue went? ahah anyways, I saw some Thor: Ragnarok behind-the-scenes pics of Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston in Thor/Loki wigs but normal clothes and wanted to draw them 😀
Sofa, what sofa? And “people between them”, what…?
Dude, put them ONE ROW apart and see what happens.
(Plus: possessive, insecure, jealous Chris. <3)
(Plus plus: matching suits.)
I rest my case.
Now let’s go celebrate y’all, I brought the champagne.
OK, I guess I’m glad to see that the coldness or hostility between them during Ragnarok promotion seems to be thawing… but Tom seems a little more diffident than he used to in his love and admiration for Chris, and I’m not just talking about the fact that he didn’t choose him (or anyone). Or maybe I’m just projecting.
We’ll never know what’s really going on between them, we’re all speculating.
And yeah, that’s probably your headcanon for them, we all have one. 😉
I prefer “interpretation of behavior” rather than “headcanon” in this case. I’m not sure there’s a sharp line between them, but I tend to think of headcanons as involving more speculation not directly based on observed evidence. A number of people (not just me) observed that Tom and Chris seemed to be kind of avoiding each other, not talking to each other directly, during the press for Ragnarok, and that Tom seemed depressed and disaffected, as well as simply being absent for quite a bit of it. It seems to me that Tom is also less enthusiastic when he talks about Chris as his “brother from another mother” than he used to be. Maybe it’s just the fading of the initial infatuation… or maybe it has something to do with whatever has been going on with his mood in the past year.
I could speculate about the reasons for this chill in their relationship, but that would be mere headcanon, and quite possibly pure projection.

No worries. It has to do with the apparent crush/sexual tension between Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth which led some of their fans to start shipping them under the name “Hiddlesworth.” It used to seem that the attraction was mutual, even if Tom always seemed more attracted to Chris than vice versa, but recently (during the filming and promotion of Ragnarok) it’s seemed completely unrequited. Tom still seems to fawn over Chris, gush about how wonderful he is, give him puppy eyes when they’re together, etc.; but Chris seems to be distancing himself from Tom (especially now that Chris and Taika are joined at the hip), acting somewhat cold and dismissive toward him. I don’t know what happened, if anything, but I’m not the only one who’s made this observation. I feel bad for Tom that he seems to be the only one still in that relationship, whether crush or bromance, and I honestly think it’s kind of ridiculous that the asymmetry should go in that direction, considering that, as far as I can see, Tom is much more intelligent and talented, including as an actor.
