Because I have only 4 days until I see “Infinity War,” I’m prioritizing by rewatching “Doctor Strange” first and I’ll come back around to “Ant-Man” and “Civil War” if I have time.
I’m already confused and slightly nauseated by the spinning buildings… though that might also be residual hangover.
Who do you think is the best sorcerer between Loki and Doctor Strange?
Tom: It’s one of the things we haven’t really… Benedict and I discussed it. In the comics Loki has extraodinary power of transformation and magic. Inside the MCU he can create so many illusions and you never know if you are talking to the real Loki. And there wasn’t time enough in Ragnarok to have a magic golf. Thor and Hulk had a fight. Strange and Loki couldn’t have a fight because we didn’t have time.
We have opened up a survey to the female fans. And they all think that Loki in terms of charisma and charm, outstands Doctor Strange. What’s your opinion?

More importantly, though, Bruce Banner’s wording is interesting: “He sent Loki.” One possible interpretation of what was going on in The Avengers was that Loki wanted to invade and rule Earth anyway, and Thanos offered to help him in exchange for the Tesseract. Bruce’s wording, if it’s deliberately chosen (rather than just being imprecise), suggests that instead, Thanos was the one who chose the target because Earth was where the Space Stone was. Incidentally, that’s consistent with my fanfictional account of how things went down…

4) having Odin actually have a purpose related to the subject of the movie (which is the event of Ragnarok not the people bringing it about, whoever they might end up being), in that he’s the one telling them about the approaching end, (cause you know he’s the all-father and he’s supposed to like protect Asgard, so if he senses Ragnarok coming, he’ll try to warn people,) rather than Surtur who’s not supposed to have anything to do with the main story at this point, he’s only a random monster Thor fought at the beginning, our audience doesn’t know that he’s got something to do with Ragnarok in the comics, SET UP AND REVEAL, literally the basics of storytelling omfg (*breathes*) ))
