I found a paper by someone named Andrea with an Italian last name and I wasn’t sure if it was a man or a woman. I was hoping it was a woman because it’s hard getting a decent proportion of women authors on a philosophy course syllabus, but I looked up the name and when a professional website came up with the tagline “A humble worker in Socrates’ vineyard,” I knew it was an Italian man. I was right.
