I’m extremely skeptical about the motivations here; it feels very cynical – like the outcry about Loki’s death in IW alerted Marvel to how invested his fanbase was, and they decided they’d capitalize on that to convince people to buy their new streaming service. If they already decided to do this before IW came out and they saw the reaction (which they might have; I don’t know how long it takes to negotiate something like this) I would be somewhat less skeptical.
I’m still not buying anything from Marvel until I find out what they’re doing with Loki in Avengers 4. If I’m not impressed, then I’m pirating the Loki TV series rather than buying Disney’s streaming service.

So uhh today I was chastised by my sociology professor when I said that FGM and child marriage are inherently wrong and constitute human rights violations regardless of where/why they’re practiced. All at once, shock, panic, denial, and despair overwhelm him. The world around him loses its color and blurs. He barely knows how to breathe. His body feels like it belongs to someone else. He doesn’t remember sitting. How long will he remain there before time begins to move again? What is there for him now that they’ve lost the war (he’s lost everything)? His only conviction in that moment is that he was never supposed to be the one to survive.
