“Should I lick the science?” forensic science edition: look, if you have to ask, you’re in the wrong line of work.
“Should I lick the science?” sociology edition: the IRB really won’t like that even if your subject thinks it’s kind of hot
“Should I lick the science?” vulcanology edition: part of me really wants to see you try
“Should I lick the science?” gynecology edition: ……….I mean. Definitely not in a professional context, but recreationally…? I’m sure it’ll be appreciated.
“Should I lick the science?” epidemiology edition: that is how you become the science
“Should I lick the science?” astrology edition: what science?
“Should I lick the science?” particle physics edition: You’re licking the science all the time.
Naw man, stop trying to take the paradox out of Nietzsche. I mean, if you think he’s outright contradicted himself, keep working on your interpretation – he’s definitely not a freewheeling deconstructionist who’s given up on coherence and truth – but he’s less interesting without the tension and ambivalence and the critiques that are also aimed at himself.
(I switched from watching “Buffy” to reading secondary literature. I have a paper I need to be writing…)
Yeah, I really don’t know why they wouldn’t just hit the Block button – surely that’s less trouble than going through and making/saving screenshots of someone’s comments? But, some people just seem to thrive on and invite fandom drama, I guess. It’s like Willy Wonka watching a disaster unfolding and saying, completely monotone, “Stop, don’t.” They must know that they’re inviting the possibility of disagreement when they post publicly on Tumblr, they’d just rather have an indignant rage aneurysm when someone finally does disagree rather than avoid the whole thing completely. Idk, man. And the reason I mention that it’s hilarious that I’m not even an anti-Ragnarok person is because it’s like, look, I am not calling you out because I have any problem with Ragnarok, I am calling you out because your behavior fucking sucks. But, yknow, whatever.
This is another thing straight out of the anti playbook. They insist that it’s the pro-shippers’ responsibility to block them; it’s like they feel like they’ve “lost” if they block first.
