I took some time…more like a TON of time, and gave my favorite villain a makeover. More like some new clothes 🙂

Originally, my intent was to give Loki more of a Nordic/Viking style but it wasn’t working out with the shoulder (I really wanted to draw the horned pauldron lol), so it ended up more Lord of the Rings (which is still cool). The boots are a little silly and I’m still not 100% sure about the headband but overall I’m happy with his look. I’ll makeover his bro next 😛

I was inspired by my friend Alan Villanueva’s work (he’s a costume illustrator for film). He’s one of my biggest inspirations and motivators.

So, my weekend in Toronto was incredible. I ended up not just representing the Northeast but actually winning the Grand Prix of the Masters of Cosplay circuit, which is still not processing in my brain at all, AND we got some fabulous new Loki photos!

I hope that my need to have Hiddles holding his own butt on my blog doesn’t get my blog deleted for reposting pap shots but if it does …. it was worth it.

Word on the street is that reblogging is safe. It’s only if you’re the OP that you’d need to worry.

But also… I’m sure we all understand the temptation. With a butt like that, who wouldn’t?
