Texas woman kills her husband because he was beating their cat
Mary Harrison, 47, was arrested in Dallas on June 2nd, 2018, for fatally shooting her husband, Dexter Harrison, 49. She told police that he was beating their cat when she shot him. Dexter was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Mary waived her right to speak to an attorney, and told the detectives that she intentionally shot him, because he was abusing the animal. She has been charged with 1st degree murder and she is being held on $100,000 bond.
