OK, I’ve decided to do it. Even though I already have things I should be writing… I could use the fire under my ass (expression chosen advisedly). And I have a job for next year, so consider this my handing out of cigars.

Top 3 names chosen by a randomizer will win a 1000- to 2000-word fic (assuming I can keep to the word limit), Loki-centric gen or Thorki, written to a Satanic theme of their choice.
Satanic themes might include: incubi/succubi, fallen angels, recasting of some character as a devil/tempter/Mephistophelean bargaining figure… someone could take me up on that idea I had a while back about the Lucifer of Liège. AUs are the most natural way to go, but canon-compliant and canon-divergent are fine – with the proviso that I won’t write anything set during or after Infinity War, not least because I have no idea how much of it will stick.

OK, here it goes: Loki/Lucifer and Odin/God. Variation of the “Lightbringer” theme where Loki rebels against Odin and tries to steal the Casquet of Winters to give it back to the Jotnar. It can follow the “biblical” version with Odin striking Loki down and Loki falling from Asgard or you can spin it any other the way you want. Bonus points for the appearance of Thor as a conflicted good archangel who loves his brother but won’t go against God for him.
It’s not very satanic now that I think about it. Let me know if you’d like another prompt!

I jumped ship from Tumblr and this is where I landed. I'm a philosophy postdoc (INTJ, she/her) with a serious thing for Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Sometimes I even write fanfiction about it. Mostly Loki and Thor/Loki (sometimes NSFW), some miscellaneous Hiddles, MCU (Steve/Tony or "Superhusbands" is my secondary ship), occasional Cherik, Game of Thrones, LOTR, Whedonverse... whatever catches my fancy, really.
