@philosopherking1887 @taranoire If it was just Loki and Gamora I’d say they were both dead for sure (GotG Vol. 3 can be set sometime between 2015-2017 since the other two movies take place in 2014), but I don’t think Marvel will leave all of Xandar destroyed and the Asgardians all dead, and both of those tragedies occur pre-snap (pre-movie in Xandar’s case).

Then again, that might just be wishful thinking.

My clue is that photo that leaked from Avengers 4 filming with Thor and Loki in Avengers 1 costumes. Unless that’s a flashback, they might be going back a ways. It’s entirely possible that the chain of events making Thanos’s victory inevitable started that far back.
