I had two Skype interviews today (for one-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions, blargh) and I want to keel over. But instead I’ll watch Iron Man 3 illegally and liveblog it.
They seem to be showing early Tony as less sexist than in the first movie. The woman he picks up in Bern is a scientist and he listens attentively and asks questions about her research before they have sex. “Iron Man 1” just showed him hooking up with ditzy fangirls and being condescending to a journalist before banging her.
