If you’re disgusted by minor/adult relationships in real life, why does it not bother you in fiction? Because the answer “It’s just fiction it’s not real!” is getting tiring and, to be quite honest? Bullshit.

Because that’s it. It’s literally not real. Nobody’s being hurt. 

If you’re disgusted by or allergic to bananas in real life, why does it not bother you or trigger an anaphylactic shock to read a book where a character eats a banana? 

Mysteries. 

I am disgusted by murder and murderers in real like but I still love to read about them and they tend to be my favorite characters in FICTION. Because I like Hannibal does that mean I condone cannibalism? I think the fuck not.
