everyone mocked guillermo for making a movie about a fish romance and he just won best director for it like……. he really did that…… “monsters are the patron saints of our blissful imperfection”…… he is the true hero of 2018 i am so proud

no and guillermo openly hates weinstein so please don’t spread misinformation like this around. to quote the man himself (re: working with weinstein on mimic in the 90’s):
